Philosophy in the field

« Wine quality starts
in the vineyard »

Having the will to constantly innovate in accordance with nature and the respect of its customers, the estate evolves, both in the management of the vineyard and in its methods of wine making. Anthony and Bertrand combine passion and confidence to produce wines that are both laudatory and attractive. Good vineyard management is one of the main keys to the success of a vintage. Thus, thanks to the perseverance and ambition of these two enthusiasts, the domain « grows ».

Anthony and Bertrand are constantly absorbed by the quality of their wines. They like to share in conviviality, tastings at the estate. They are enriched by any advice or remarks they hear.

 

Firmly convinced that a good wine comes first and foremost from meticulous work on each vine stock, they attach real importance to the maintenance and renewal of the vineyard. Moreover, the smallest detail can improve the organoleptic qualities of a wine. This is why numerous and regular visits are made to the vineyard as well as various tastings at the press, in the vat and in the bottle…

Anthony and Bertrand are constantly absorbed by the quality of their wines. They like to share in conviviality, tastings at the estate. They are enriched by any advice or remarks they hear.

For each vintage, they carry out different wine making on certain vintages to enhance them, to bring out or attenuate aromas, flavors, etc…

In addition, in order to perpetuate the plot of land, the vines are renewed every year, taking care to maintain a fair balance between the young vines, for the freshness they bring, and the older vines, for their roundness. The heterogeneity of the vineyard allows the production of wines which will each have their own particularity and personality.

The environment

In 2020, the estate will
be certified HEV: High Environmental Value.

Attentive to environmental issues, Anthony and Bertrand act in a reasoned manner in the management of the vineyard (working the soil) and the maturing of the wines. The vineyard is maintained and the soils are worked with a view to respecting the ecosystem.

Natural alternative practices for pest control

Bertrand and Anthony produce “real” wines, complex and balanced, perfect reflections of the terroir they work on. For them, wine is above all a product of passion and sharing, made with the help of nature. Each parcel can be worked differently, but the same respect for the fauna and flora is omnipresent.
